Psalms

Coming this September, we will embark on a brief series through some of our favorite Psalms. This collection of writings forms the longest book in our Bibles, composed of 150 Psalms, written by at least 7 different authors. The Psalms present us with the fullest expression of prayer and praise in all of Scripture. There are Psalms of historical value, kingdom perspective, and wise insights. There are Psalms of thanksgiving, confidence, lament and praise. Somehow the Psalms are both simultaneously from God to us and yet they are also directed to him from us.

Pouring Out Our Hearts To God

This Fall we will move our way through only a sampling of the Psalm collection. Obviously a full series through every Psalm would take us nearly 3 years if we committed one Sunday to each individually. Perhaps someday we will cover them all, but for now we will simply begin with a humble exploration. During these few weeks you will hear from both old and new voices, guests and familiar faces, those who are preaching their very first sermon and those who cant keep track.
