Let’s make 2027 “the year to be here!” A little friendly competition on the honor system. This is completely voluntary and there is absolutely no pressure to participate. Don't worry, nobody will be keeping tally. It's not really about you anyways, it’s all about US being together as one body on Sunday!
The YEAR to be HERE
Over the course of the next few months there will be a series of posts explaining why we think public worship is so important and why all of you make Sundays amazing. For now, here are a few simple rules:
Open to all members and regular attenders.
Attend the public Sunday worship service each week.
You get 3 sick days. Use them wisely.
If you can't be with your home church (travel, snow, etc.), attend a service elsewhere.
Attend all 52 weeks and you win accolades and prizes on December 27, 2027.
To Encourage Everyone To Love Sundays
We know not everyone will be able to take up this challenge, or have interest to do so, and that's ok. Don't feel left out. Cheer on those who try. The goal isn't to create two groups (those with perfect attendance and those without). That is not at all what is intended. The goal is to encourage everyone to love Sundays!
