A Growing Church

This Sunday we’ll welcome a new member to Grace Hill Church! God has been faithful to build His church and continues to remind us of His goodness and kindness in the lives of those He leads through our doors. Come ready to celebrate as we affirm and welcome our new member during the service.

Christ Is Building His Local Church

Paul says in Ephesians 4:25 that we are “members one of another”. Church membership is more than a membership in a club. It’s an expression of our commitment to the people around us. The Scriptures are full of “one another” commands that show believers how to act in godliness toward other people. What Scripture makes clear is that these “others” refer to a specific group of people, not all people generally. These “others” are the men and women identified in a particular local church.

We Are Members One Of Another

If you are interested in pursuing membership at Grace Hill Church, please register for our Membership Seminar that will take place Saturday, September 14th from 9am-12pm

Together Is Better

The church is like a body with many members. Membership in the local church is the logical implication of membership in the global Church, which comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, publicly demonstrated through baptism. Our lives are connected. We need one another. Church membership is our way of ensuring everyone who belongs to our congregation enjoys the benefits and privileges of being Grace Hill Church.

Sunday, September 14th - 12-2pm

If you’re a member of Grace Hill Church, we want you to save the date for our next member meeting, to be held on Sunday, September 14th from 12-2pm. Come ready to hear some important updates, highlight God’s grace as we see Him at work, and affirm a few initiatives. We will provide more details regarding food for the meeting in the coming weeks. Thanks for making your church family a priority!

Prayer In The Morning

While we continue to encourage you to gather regularly for prayer during small groups and our corporate gatherings on Sunday mornings, we remain committed to pursuing additional opportunities to call God’s people towards unity in prayer. We invite and encourage you to join us at 9:00am to call upon the Lord.

Sunday at 9am

Do you have an upcoming surgery or procedure? Did you or a loved one recently receive a difficult diagnosis? What has God been doing in your life that we can celebrate together? Are you on the hunt for a job?

How Can We Pray?

Submit your requests on The Hill and let the members of Grace Hill Church know how they can bring your needs before the throne of God. Once we receive your request, they will be added to the prayer list on The Hill

Jesus Club Worship Night

A few weeks ago, Johnny shared about the amazing work that God has been doing through the ministry of Jesus Clubs at Arrowhead High School along with other high schools in the area (Kettle Moraine, and Oconomowoc). These Jesus Clubs are student led clubs that aim to give every student on campus the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Summer Worship Night

On Tuesday, July 22nd, Grace Hill will be hosting a Jesus Club Worship Night. The general flow of the night will consist of a music team playing through a setlist of worship songs to guide students through a time to meet with Jesus and worship together, leaving room for any prayer or moments the Lord leads in spontaneous worship. This will be a night to sing and praise our Savior. The intent is to provide space and time for students to lean into the Lord, while other Christians will be available for students to receive prayer and opportunity to be cared for however the Spirit leads.

Tuesday, July 22nd | 6-8pm

For anyone at Grace Hill who is interested in being a part of this worship night, you are welcome and encouraged to participate. Come to worship, pray, and be sensitive to how the Lord leads you throughout the evening to care for the youth of Lake Country.

Please continue to pray for more students to come and hear the Good News. Pray for revival. Pray for the Spirit to be moving at the Jesus Clubs next year. Pray for the Jesus Club rally this July. Pray that lives would be changed and people would give their lives to Christ.

Saturday, July 12th | 4-8pm

We currently meet once a month to learn and grow. Every meeting is different. Sometimes it's a party. Sometimes it's a service project. Often we have deep theological conversations. 7th-12th graders from inside and outside the church are welcome to join.

Washed Clean

Baptism is an outward visible sign of an internal spiritual reality. A sacrament proper only to those who believe in the death, resurrection, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.

Outward Sign of an Inward Reality

Come join us this Sunday as we celebrate God’s grace and mercy through baptism. A beautiful sign displaying the reality of the work of the Spirit in our hearts. Our corporate witness and participation, while individuals are baptized, serves as a reminder that we are one body and all receive grace through observing and giving Jesus glory through obedience to this wonderful ordinance.

Romans 6:3–5

Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

Membership Seminar

Come spend a Saturday morning with the Pastors of Grace Hill to learn more about the church and the Biblical values of membership. Childcare will be provided for those who need it, and lunch will be served at the conclusion of our time together.

Saturday, September 20th | 9a-12p

Our time together will be structured around the values we share. They don’t explain everything about us, but they do provide benchmarks for you to further explore our doctrine and practices. Please feel free to ask your questions during the seminar (and following). Nothing is off-limits or out of bounds. We want to help you understand us. This seminar is for you.

What are the values of GHC and Why they matter

After completing the Membership Seminar, you will have the option of pursuing church membership. We recognize that not everyone is ready for this step and if this describes you, please continue to engage in the life of our church with no expectations. You are welcome here.

Jesus Club

Last Sunday Johnny shared about the amazing work that God has been doing at Arrowhead High School along with other high schools in the area (Kettle Moraine, and Oconomowoc). The Jesus Clubs are student led clubs that aim to give every student on campus the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

As Johnny shared on Sunday, “So often the narrative that we hear about Gen Z and Gen Alpha is the mental illness, addictions, and brokenness. But the narrative from heaven and reality in schools all over the world is that the next generation are hungry for God, they are seeking Jesus, and they are boldly sharing the Gospel with their peers.” Johnny admitted that when the Jesus Clubs began to form in Lake Country, the expectations were that a couple of students would come, but God had other plans, and now there are between 35-50 students who attend the weekly meetings at Arrowhead.

Set The Believers An Example

Please pray for more students to come and hear the Good News. Pray for revival. Pray for the Spirit to be moving at the Jesus Clubs next year. Pray for the Jesus Club rally this summer. Pray that lives would be changed and people would give their lives to Christ.
